Overview
Arbor Technology UK is the national branch of a global electronics company with headquarters in Taiwan. The regional office was struggling to generate UK leads through the global website. The team provide a tailored service to customers, with ongoing technical support, but this personal approach was not evident on a corporate website.
Challenge
The team needed to convince Headquarters of the benefits of investing in a new website. So, we started this project with a detailed website review and competitor analysis, to be presented to managers. This included data-supported recommendations. Once agreed, it was important to develop a website that matched the global branding but represented the UK team and customers.
Solution
We developed a mobile responsive website that integrated with company systems and included links to specific information on the Global website. We provided photography and copy and uploaded a full catalogue of products, specifications and data sheets from the global site. The team had previously had to rely on the Taiwan technical team to make updates, however, we ensured that the UK team could manage administration. We provided UK-based hosting and had the challenge of maintaining the search engine indexing during the transition to the new website. Once live, we managed a Google Ads campaign and provided a 6-month blog writing service.

The prospect of developing a new website filled us with dread. Trying to make decisions without a clear understanding of the implications meant it was difficult to decide the best way to proceed. The project Manager at Framework Digital answered all of our questions without the usual industry-specific jargon. Working with experts that we could trust gave us the confidence to invest in a new site, which was launched on time and is exactly what we wanted. Framework Digital continues to support us with website improvements and Google AdWords campaign management.
