Overview
Chiltern Neuro Centre is a longstanding client that was previously called Chiltern MS Centre. The charity offers a range of support and facilities that benefit individuals living with MS. Having expanded its services to support individuals with Parkinson’s and stroke survivors, the charity rebranded. So, they needed us to update the website and complete a domain name change.
Challenge
To achieve the brief, we recommended replicating the existing website. This allowed us to create a rebranded design and layout while the original site remained operational. In addition, as most of the original website content was still relevant, it saved us from transferring content across to a new website, which was time and cost-efficient. Then, it was relatively straightforward to incorporate the additional services being offered.
We followed procedures to preserve the organic Google ranking and transferred functional services such as Google Analytics, donation transactions and newsletter sign up. Throughout the process, we collaborated with Chiltern Neuro Centre’s designer and IT team to ensure a smooth-running project.
Solution
In agreement with the client, we crafted a solution that went beyond the initial brief and designed a dynamic brochure for filming and tourism in Essex. We want it to be a source of pride for residents and a powerful showcase for the Essex Film Office. The aesthetic website featured large images and a minimalistic design. This engages visitors, who now have a more intuitive and accessible user experience. To complete the project, we provided a web hosting service, along with training for staff and web admins. This empowers them to keep the content updated and relevant. The outcome is a valuable resource for residents, filmmakers and the Essex Film Office team.

They are patient and encouraging – which I think is really important especially for a charity!
