The Client

The Editorial Hub, a globally recognised company, offers professional editorial services to publishers, institutions, societies and other professional bodies. This Business-to-Business (B2B) company based in Buckingham, approached Framework Digital after viewing our extensive collection of work on websites. The Editorial Hub needed a website to improve lead generation and increase enquiries about their services.

The existing website had an outdated design, which didn’t align with modern design trends and the long blocks of text presenting information was difficult to read.

Project Brief

At Framework Digital, we worked closely with the founders to communicate the message they wanted to share. This message involved showcasing the variety of publishing experts on their team, who aim to offer tailored services to potential clients.

For this project we aimed to redesign their previous website, offer hosting and apply the logo to establish the foundations for branding, such as colour, text and fonts. Also, we explored strategies to improve navigation and search engine optimisation (SEO).

While they provided copy, images and other assets were attained by Framework Digital.

Our Solution

Applying the brand colour purple, kept it consistent with user experience previously on their online platform. More so, we used the brand colour to highlight key elements, including calls to action, testimonials and internal links to improve navigation on the new website.

To improve lead generation, we created an easy-to-use contact form. To ensure our designs were user-centric, we accommodated responsive designs and this allowed a range of devices to send enquiries through the website.

To improve user engagement, we selected visually aesthetic images to break copy-heavy content on pages and encouraged easy-readability for users.

To boost search engine optimisation, we collaborated with the team on key words and terms that were at the forefront of their publishing services.

To further optimise their website for an improved user experience, the new website features Recapture spam protection on all contact forms, a live X (Twitter) feed and integrated ‘Get a Quote’ and ‘Contact’ forms.

The Results

Taking on board our client’s vision, we created a brand style for this B2B that is still used today for their publications, banners and signatures. We continue to support the Editorial Hub, maintain and host their website.
