How do you increase a company’s visibility on search engines and encouraging enquiries? Identifying key words and the core message kickstarted a professional website redesign for Buckingham business, The Editorial Hub.
Editorial Hub home page

Overview

The Editorial Hub offers professional editorial services to global publishers, institutions, societies and other professional bodies. This Business-to-Business (B2B) company needed a website redesign to improve lead generation and increase enquiries about their services. They identified the need to improve navigation and search engine optimisation (SEO).

Challenge

As you might expect from writing professionals, the existing website was very text heavy. Unfortunately, the volume of text made it difficult for users to find specific information. We were keen to break the text into easier-to-consume sections and incorporate more imagery. In addition, we saw an opportunity to place greater focus on the individuals in the team and their specialisms.

Solution

We worked with the founders to understand their core message and research keywords used in the publishing industry. As writing for the web is different to research papers, editorial columns and books, we assisted with keyword-optimised copy that concisely communicated their message. We used the same branding colours and font as the previous website however, we modernised the look and feel. Our user-centric solution included a responsive website design, with clear calls to action and internal links that aid navigation. We also created an easy-to-use contact form to increase enquiries. We continue to provide hosting services and support to the team.

I was happy with Frameworks collaboration, the openness to change and helping us make decisions. It’s evident that the product is amazing as we get around 20,000 hits a month on the website!
