Overview
London Clean Air raises awareness and runs community projects to tackle air pollution and improve the health of city residents. Each year, they organise EarthFest, an event with speakers, exhibitors and activities to drive change and help raise funds for projects. London Clean Air recognised the importance of a high-performance website to promote the event, provide a positive user experience and make it easy for the team to manage.
Challenge
A primary aim of the website is to attract corporate exhibitors and sponsors. However, they wanted a non-corporate look that appeals to sustainably minded visitors. We also needed to balance the technical and creative input to deliver a website that communicates the vision and excitement of EarthFest and streamlines functionality. The process started with a wireframe design. From this, we embedded layers of design and content until we reached the desired outcome.
Solution
We were selected to work on this project due to our track record of understanding the specific needs of not-for-profit organisations. Our focus on accessible web design and green hosting options was equally important. We discovered many shared values and a collaborative working relationship, making this a positive project for all involved. The team describe the outcome as ‘a gorgeous hub of information’. It offers an intuitive user experience with streamlined performance.

I would say Framework have a great balance of creativity and technical knowledge. You can pitch them your wildest dreams and they will help you make them a reality. You are really just a lovely group of people, every single person I have spoken to at Framework are super sweet and lovely which really makes the experience even better when working together.
We spent a lot of time looking at different agencies that we thought we could go to, and I think for us choosing Framework felt right in part because you have a big focus on accessibility, which is so important.
