Site One website release

Essentially, Peter from Site One required a modern, responsive website to not only rectify current accessibility issues; but also effectively present their expertise in their niche industry and highlight their reputable client-base. The new website would play a critical role in solidifying their position within their business sector and attracting potential new clients.

We have recently finished a project for Site One Solutions. We chatted to Kayley, our Web Developer, about the release.

What was the

initial brief?

Our client, Site One Solutions,a reputable mast and tower manufacturer, sought to re-design their existing website with a goal of achieving the following objectives:

  1. Improved accessibility: The existing website was not mobile-friendly, and with the majority of users accessing the website via phones and other devices this was an essential requirement for the new design.
  2. Showcasing work and talent: Our client required their new website to effectively showcase their work, projects and expertise in their highly specialised industry. The existing website did not adequately highlight their project accomplishments. The new website design will serve as a portfolio that reflects their proficiency in mast and tower manufacturing.
  3. Enhancing industry reputation: With impressive clients such as Top Golf, Maritime & Coastal Agency and the Royal National Lifeboat Institution, Site One’s new website design would convey professionalism and competence to strengthen their industry reputation and attract more clients with a need for services.

What does Site One Solutions do?

Our client operates in the field of mast & tower manufacturing, which involves the design & production of masts & tower structures implemented in various sectors such as the sports, telecommunications, and maritime industries. Site One has established a reputation for excellence in their field and this is substantiated by their portfolio of impressive clients.

One of their notable projects involved producing tower manufacturing for sports netting used at the well-known entertainment experience, Top Golf. This project is featured in the new design, conveying Site One’s ability to cater to the unique requirements of clients and also undertake large-scale projects, which is a testament to their skill and innovation in the mast & tower manufacturing field.

What is the new website helping with?

The new website is designed to address several key objectives, as discussed previously these are accessibility, showcasing work and talent, and enhancing industry reputation. These were addressed in the new website by ensuring that the design is responsive and works seamlessly on all devices, expanding the client’s reach to a wider audience. The website serves as a platform to showcase the client’s projects and capabilities and enhances their reputation by demonstrating their ability to deliver high-quality solutions.

Additionally, the new website assists with the following:

Marketing and branding: The new website acts as a marketing tool to convey the competence of the client, it assists in branding Site One as a reputable business within their industry, attracting more clients.

Client engagement: The new site offers valuable information, project case studies and blog posts. This information is beneficial, along with industry expertise to educate our client’s target audience, further demonstrating Site One’s authority in their field.

The new website serves as a versatile tool that not only rectifies functionality issues such as mobile responsiveness, it also plays a pivotal role in promoting our clients work and supports marketing efforts, effectively helping them reach a broader audience and assist in positioning themselves as leaders in mast and tower manufacturing.

Did you provide training as part of the launch?

As part of the Framework Digital service, training was provided to the client. This included both face-to-face sessions with Peter and written instructions to ensure he and team members could effectively manage and update their new website.

How did you work collaboratively with the client?

Throughout the project we were able to work in a collaborative manner with Site One in order to ensure the success of their new website. Mike conducted a thorough needs assessment with Peter, and by discovering Site One’s specific goals and requirements, our team were able to produce a design the client was happy with. Collaboration during the design stage was crucial, ensuring that the design reflected our client’s branding and industry expertise. Migrating content from their current website to the new design, was a meticulous process that required active client involvement. Throughout the project Peter provided feedback on various aspects from design to functionality. Collaborating on these revisions required flexibility to implement changes that aligns with the client’s vision. We worked closely with Site One to ensure that they were comfortable with the content management system and the procedures to update and manage content/blogs even after the completion of the project.
